Mark R. Boswell
Mark R. Boswell is a dedicated trial lawyer that specializes in personal injury, medical malpractice, and criminal defense, including juvenile law. He is the owner of Kirkpatrick and Boswell located in downtown, San Luis Obispo, California. Mr. Boswell graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Education degree in 1975. He completed an M.A. degree from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, in 1982. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from Ventura College of Law in 1987. Mr. Boswell taught in public schools in British Columbia and California. He was also an instructor in the California Polytechnic State University paralegal program, teaching tort theory for a number of years.
Mr. Boswell's law practice is exclusively limited to cases involving personal injury, plaintiff medical malpractice, and criminal defense. He has settled and tried cases over the years in each area of specialty. Since January 1, 2000, the firm has obtained settlements and verdicts in excess of $20 million for injured clients*. Mr. Boswell is a member of CAOC, CPDA, and the San Luis Obispo County Bar Association.
Mr. Boswell has four sons ranging in age from 20-31. He resides in Templeton, California. Away from the office, Mr. Boswell enjoys fishing, dirt bike riding, soccer, playing guitar, reading non-fiction literature, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
